Ross The Boss @ Forces Of Metal

Edguy, CircleIICircle, Sonata Artica, Steelheart, Dark Funeral en Samael: maar een paar van de bevestigde bands die hun opwachting maken op wat de highlight van het Europese hardrock- en metalfestivalseizoen lijkt te worden: Forces of Metal.

En nu wordt het tweedaags festival, dat wordt gehouden op vrijdag 8 en zaterdag 9 juni op het E3-strand in Eersel, een once-in-a-lifetime event! Op zaterdag kunnen metalliefhebbers genieten van gitaargod én voormalig Manowar-bandlid Ross the Boss!

Ross the Boss en zijn band laten zowel nummers van hun albums New Metal Leader en Hailstorm alswel Manowar-klassiekers horen. Bovendien viert Ross the Boss met zijn komst naar Forces of Metal Festival een persoonlijk en heavy metal hoogtepunt: de 30’ste verjaardag van Manowar’s legendarische debuut Battle Hymns. Hoe? Door de gehele opus live uit te voeren!

Ross (Friedman) the Boss:

“Although I was around the same age as the guys in Manowar, I was the veteran. I had recorded four albums. I had toured the world. But like my current band, there was camaraderie and the creativity flowed. It was a special time. We were able to tap into this freshness and this energy. It’s one of the reasons I love my band. It’s great when you have chemistry with your bandmates.”
