Rock Am Ring bevestigde 14 nieuwe bands, die ook op Rock Im Park spelen.

De volgende bands staan voortaan ook op de affiche van Rock Am Ring en Rock Im Park: Alt-J, Bad Religion, PVRIS, Antilopen Gang, Seasick Steve, Nothing More, Andrew W.K., 6ix9ine, Mantar, Don Broco, Thy Art is Murder, Scarlxrd, Giant Rooks en The Night Game. Dat brengt het totaal aantal bands momenteel op 73, met Foo Fighters, Muse, Thirty Seconds To Mars en Gorillaz als headliner.

Rock Am Ring gaat in 2017 door van 2 tot en met 4 juni 2017.
