It’s been a while since Finnish melodic metal titans Sonata Arctica toured Europe the last time in 2019. The band was very productive in the meantime and booked a studio to record their very first acoustic album. To promote this release, the band will embark on a journey through 17 European countries! Support will be provided by Swedish hopefuls ELEINE, who will also be presenting an acoustic set.
Keyboarder Henrik “Henkka” Klingenberg comments: ‘Since our Talviyö World Tour is more or less over, it’s time to look ahead for the next challenge and since we’ve had so much fun with the acoustic stuff we decided to make an album as well. The Acoustic Adventures album will be out in October and of course we will hit the road immediately after that to celebrate the release of the album. As of now we have managed to set up an extensive European Tour and we’re really looking forward to getting out there an play some music for all of you.’
Opmerking: omwille van coronamaatrgelen is deze tournee uitgesteld naar volgend jaar. Dit optreden gaat niet meer door op 14 november 2021, maar is verplaatst naar 13 november 2022. Aangekochte tickets blijven geldig.

Vandaag komt Sonata Arctica naar 013 voor een akoestische show. Wanneer ze op volle oorlogskracht zijn, houden deze Finnen wel van de nodige grandeur en symfonische elementen, maar juist akoestisch laten ze zien dat er onder al die pastiche bijzonder goede liedjes schuil gaan. Zoek de akoestische versies van bijvoorbeeld ‘Tallulah’, ‘I Have A Right’ of ‘Mary Lou’ maar eens op. Niet zo gek dus dat Sonata dit jaar een volledig akoestische plaat uit gaat brengen. Op 28 oktober krijgen jullie daar de live variant van te horen. Wij kunnen alvast niet wachten.
Als support komt de powermetalband Eleine, onder leiding van de bevallige zangeres Madeleine Liljestam, mee op tour.
De Finse melodic metalband wil in deze tijden van moeilijkheden bij alle fans over de hele wereld een lichtje brengen. Dit doen ze door livestream shows te organiseren.
