On 22 February Nothing More is coming to Trix, Antwerp! Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, the band stubbornly steered their own course only to be rewarded years later with the breakthrough they so thoroughly deserve. Founded in 2003 by drummer John Hawkins and guitarist Mark Vollelunga, four albums and hundreds of shows only resulted in moderate success in their early years. Things started happening when Hawkins decided to switch his drumsticks for the microphone but the final piece of the puzzle didn’t drop into place until 2014, when they were signed by Eleven Music. The label re-released their latest, self-titled CD ‘Nothing More’. Follow-up ‘The Stories We Tell Ourselves’ (2017) was another step in the right direction and support slots for Papa Roach and Ghost, amongst others, paved the way to further success. They like to take a DIY approach to things and this includes production and artwork as well as instrumental contraptions the likes of which you’ve never seen before. On their latest full-length ‘Spirits’ (2022) they continue to experiment so there’s plenty to enjoy for alternative rock/metal fans.

On 6 February 2024 Peyton Parrish is coming to Trix, Antwerp to present his latest record “Skalds of Metal”. Parrish laid the foundation for his career in 2020 with a cover of “My Mother Told Me,” made famous by the series “Vikings.” In 2022 he released “Rise Of Vikingr”, his debut album with original songs and covers. On “The Most Magical Album On Earth” he presents his versions of Disney classics like “I’ll Make A Man Out Of You”, “Hoist Your Colours” or “Be Prepared”. Peyton Parrish’s current album is titled “Skalds Of Metal” and includes a collaboration with German medieval rock giants Saltatio Mortis.
